Hi there! My name is Chris, or "Lil Guppie." I run Studio Guppie — a small studio that is home to a collection of my prints, illustrations, sketches, ideas, writings, and explorations as I dip my toes into making things.

I don't have much yet, but I've been making some prints. Cool, right? 😎 I usually try to get inspiration from real life — it's free! When I'm thinking of a new idea, I harvest the thoughts from my head and put them on paper. I get inspiration from the internet, books, other artists, friends, family, my community, my environment, my life, my experiences, and really anything. Sounds like a lot, huh? Anyway, I try to go into detail on each print so, hopefully, that gives you a window into my creative process. I hand-craft them here in sunny cough foggy San Francisco at my small studio at home. I meticulously plan every detail from concepting to burning the stencil on my screens (mostly)... It's really dirty and fun and I make a lot of mistakes. I'm just starting on this new adventure, but please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or feedback. I'm open to collaborating too! Let's make something together.

Email me at hullo@guppie.studio. Oh, and shout out to my friend Matt who helped me coin the name I've come to adopt.
